end of August	La Cacciata, Orvieto, Umbria, Italy - Cooking school with Alastair Little.  One of my prizes.  The week is provided by Tasting Places
11th September	St Catherine's Charity Dinner Concert - Piano concert with Nicola & Alexandra Bibby.  I'm doing the cooking for 100 people (with lots of help of course).  It is to be held at St Catherines Court (Jane Seymour's house near Bath) and is in aid of the Meningitis Research Foundation. The menu will be: Filo vegetable roll with fresh tomato sauce and basil oil ooo Braised shoulder of lamb with pumpkin and sage risotto, grilled courgettes & lamb jus or Roast cod with mustard mash, spinach and roasted field mushrooms. ooo Almond cake with plum compote. Liquorice and pear gateaux Pinenut and praline tart Hot chocolate and beetroot pudding Spiced rhubarb jelly with fried ginger Apple charlotte with apple crisps.
